Air Conditioning Compressor Seals

A sealing element, is required to seal the rotating shaft of the air conditioner compressor. Damage to the seal leads to lubricant leakage, which leads to increased friction between the parts and their premature wear. If signs of oil leakage appear, the seal must be replaced as soon as possible to avoid more expensive and complicated repairs.

Due to the abundance of models and modifications of automotive air conditioning compressors, seals are usually selected using a photo with the specified dimensions. Replacement must be performed using special mandrels designed for mounting the seal on the shaft to avoid damage to the seal.
